• Dear god is this book dry. If you looking at this for an online course you might as well buy some booze to help get you through the chapters. The book is well put together with relevant information but its dry and an unpleasant read. Buy if you must, book was rented and came in new condition.
• This social psychology book is brilliant, and I love reading it. It is bang up to date with recent research. It is very accessible, and can be read quickly. I have gone back to this book time and again.
  
  The authors have written in areas in which that are experts in their field. Dachar Keltner, on emotions, power, class, attribution theory. Thomas Gilovich is an expert when it comes to decision making, and biases. The chapters are very well written, excellently organised, and the type is large, which not only makes it more readable, but research by Norbert Schwartz shows that is makes the concepts appear easier to digest. The visual aspect of the book is first class, and makes pulling out the book enticing.
  
  Personally, My favourite chapters were on the self, attributions (which I thought was brilliant, emotions, close relationships, social influence, prejudice, and groups, and the applied chapters at the end, which were very interesting).
  
  I rate this book as a must read, whether you are doing an undergrad course, or are just interested in what makes people behave the way they do.
• Received a new book which means I got the access to the internet version of the book, that is at least another $70-80 value. Since my electronic book access is already included in the class fees, I didn't use it so I know someone else will get the access.
• This book is a very important commodity in my line of business. I thank-you for getting this book to me in such a timely manner. I also believe that the knowledge attained from the study of this resource will help me to improve the lives of 1 out of 10 adolescences. Thanks!!!
• Everything looks great. It's used, of course, but that doesn't effect my ability to read the book. All the pages are there and the code was even there. Although I noticed that too late after I bought the online quiz required for the class.

• I learned a lot out of this textbook. English is my second language and reading and studying this book was so easy to understand. It has been written in a very understandable and easy way. I absolutely recommend it to any psychology or sociology major students!
• I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in the content and writing quality in this textbook. It's verbose when it doesn't need to be but then many of the concepts aren't clearly defined or backed up with sufficient evidence and supporting data. Not impressed with this textbook.
